The Story of CustomBold

I’ll be honest.

The score was never my favorite part of golf.

I remember the people.

The terrible shots.

The jokes nobody else would understand.

The guy in the foursome who somehow turns every round into a story.

That’s what I like about golf.

And that’s also why I started CustomBold.

Because I couldn’t understand why something this fun came with clothes that were so damn boring.

Everything felt safe.

Clean.

Proper.

Forgettable.

So I started designing the kind of polos I actually wanted to wear.

Polos that look good first.

Then you get closer.

And something feels... off.

Maybe there’s a hidden joke.

Maybe the pattern isn’t quite what you thought it was.

Maybe it’s completely inappropriate.

Even better.

That little moment when someone notices the design, laughs, points it out, or shows it to somebody else?

That’s the whole point.

I don’t want CustomBold to be another golf brand trying to convince you how sophisticated it is.

I want it to feel like the funniest guy in your foursome.

Good enough to show up anywhere.

Never boring.

Occasionally a bad influence.

And always ready with another ridiculous idea.

Because life has enough serious stuff already.

Your polo doesn’t need to be one of them.
